This is the first post on our blog & I have a lot to share with you.
In this post, I am gonna share everything you need to know about this blog, our team, why we started it, our mission, future goals & how you (our readers) can join us.
As the name suggests, Solar Funda is a blog where we will be sharing everything you need to know about Solar power, including latest solar technologies, products, future innovations & how everything works.
If you’re not aware of Solar power, then you can have a look at the below definition of solar power by Wikipedia.
Solar power is conversion of energy from sunlight into electricity.
Well, no need to worry if you know nothing about solar. We will be covering everything later on our blog.
Why Solar?
Do you know how we generate most of our electricity today?
Well, the answer is by using fossil fuels (e.g coal, oil & gas).
And guess what, these are limited & as the demand is growing, I am 100% sure that there will be a huge shortage of these resources in near future.
And at that time, the only option we will have is to use green energy resources (like sun energy, wind energy & water energy).
Also, in the last few decades, a great level of consciousness of climate change and energy has been achieved around the world.
Energy is the main contributor to climate change. Countries need an affordable and environment friendly future of energy.
And, solar power seems to be one of the best options.
Is Solar Energy the future?
I think it is.
Well, who am I to tell you this?

According to Harvard, the amount of solar power produced in the US will rise to 700% by 2050.
Another study says that the amount of sunlight that falls on the earth surface is 35000 times the amount of total energy used by humans which means there is huge upside potential.
The below graph from LetsGoSolar clearly depicts the increase in power generation capacity from 2010 to 2021 (in US).
Solar power is providing us with one of the lowest cost options for economy and social development in rural regions around the world.
So, we can say that the future of solar power is bright & it can truly turn our imagination into the reality of becoming energy independent.
